Rikosuhripäivystys – Finland
Rikosuhripäivystys (RIKU) on vuonna 1994 toimintansa aloittanut yhteistyösopimukseen perustuva toiminta. Sitä ylläpitävät Suomen Punainen Risti, Ensi- ja turvakotien liitto, MIELI Suomen Mielenterveys ry, Mannerheimin Lastensuojeluliitto, Suomen Setlementtiliitto ja Kirkkohallitus. Toimintaa koordinoi valtakunnallisesti MIELI Suomen Mielenterveys ry.
RIKUn perustehtävä ja palvelut: RIKUn perustehtävänä on parantaa rikoksen uhrin, hänen läheisensä ja rikosasian todistajan asemaa vaikuttamalla ja tuottamalla tukipalveluita. Toimimme rikoksen uhrin puolestapuhujana ja tarpeiden tulkitsijana. RIKUn palvelut on tarkoitettu yhdenvertaisesti kaikille rikoksen uhreille. Yhdenvertaisuuden toteutumista tukee RIKUn yhdenvertaisuussuunnitelma. Yksi vaikuttamiskeinoista on osallistuminen rikoksen uhrin asemaa parantavien työryhmien työhön yhdessä viranomaisten ja muiden kolmannen sektorin toimijoiden kanssa. Rikoksen uhrin asemasta ja tarpeista annettavat lausunnot, koulutus, tiedotus, rikosuhrin asemaan liittyvän tutkimuksen edistäminen ja osallistuminen julkiseen keskusteluun ovat myös RIKUn perustyötä. RIKU tarjoaa käytännön neuvoja ja henkistä tukea rikoksen tai rikosyrityksen kohteeksi joutuneille, heidän läheisilleen ja rikosasiassa todistaville. Autamme rikoksen uhria toimimaan oikeuksiensa mukaisesti ja tuemme hänen selviytymistään rikoskokemuksesta.
